Longstanding Festival in Rochester that brings in a variety of different types of music.  It started as a free festival but now charges a small fee of around $2. There usually are different food vendors/ food trucks along onsite. In 2014 it will be heading back to the original site at the MLK park (Manhattan Square Park).

Looking for some good Barbeque and blues music? This festival will settle your appetite for both. Set in Highland Park some of the top Barbeque vendors from around the country will be there to serve it up.

Rochester is the Flower City and the Lilac Festival is one of the biggest festivals in Rochester.  Set in Highland Park the festival features a large amount of music both free and ticketed concerts.

Bonzai 2014 PosterBonzai
The main headlining festival type concert for Alternative Music in Rochester sponsored by 94.1 WZNE - The Zone.  It has been in various locations around Rochester and has grown to 2 stages and 10 bands in 2013.  Usually takes place in July - August.  Not to be missed if you like Alternative Music.
2014 brings Bonzai to Sahlen's stadium and brings a couple of big names to headline.

Ten Ugly Men
Ten Ugly Men

Ten Ugly Men has been going on since 25 years and a staple of the Rochester music festivals.  Charity driven to give back to the community, along with music there are other events like a 5K race, volleyball and a kickball tournament.

Held in Rochester in late June the Jazz Festival is held over 9 days covering venues throughout the city.

Rock'n Rochester for over 23 years the East End Fest has had some recent obstacles and has adapted to survive.  What used to be a festival that happened several times over the summer they now just have one East End Fest a year, so don't miss it when it comes around!

Fairport Music Festival
The Fairport Music Festival features about 20 bands and food from area restaurants.  Along with the music the festival also has special children activities.  All proceeds are donated to charity.

Roc City Ribfest
Roc City Rib Festival
The Roc City Rib Festival started in cornfield in Avon now draws huge numbers to Ontario Beach Park on Memorial Day Weekend for some great Barbeque and Music.  The festival is a major barbeque competition along with some major national barbeque vendors setting up.

Carnival of Madness
National touring festival - Carnival of Madness usually makes a stop in Canandaigua at CMAC.  In the past the bands have been the likes of Shinedown, Skillet, Papa Roach and others...  They know how to have a good rockin time.
